In a similar way I can say that a girl has a use for a guy other than using him. I've always thought it has to do with our species' social structure in particular. If we lived in a non-societal, non-intimate way, I don't think I'd be turned on by the idea of having sex with someone. That would be rude in our kind of society. We, however, are a society by definition. Our purpose in this world is to maintain the status quo and that's why a lot of people choose to adopt a sociopathic style of existence. What happens is that in non-sociopathic societies, the sex drive is not developed in those people but the attitude towards sex is. If you can say that about someone, then that person will live in his or her mind as if they have no sex drive. Sex is seen as vulgar, cheap and simply pointless, so why have sex?
